Imagined Spaces – Quatuor Mémoire
Performed by: Quatuor Mémoire
String Quartet No. 5 (2026) for two violins, viola and cello
The concert “Imagined Spaces” evokes the places—physical or inner—where dreams, memories and questions meet. In Three Places, American composer Kari Watson revisits spaces that served as landmarks during a time of chaos, while Francis Battah’s String Quartet No. 5, written for Quatuor Mémoire, lays the foundations for a new musical language in the form of imaginary folklore.
